Olij showroom in full bloom for IFTEX 2014
Many delightful colours fill up the Olij showroom with new, commercial and code rose varieties in full bloom. With only two days before the official commencement of the IFTEX Flower Expo to be held at the Oshwal Centre in Nairobi, this is the best time to get a first hand view of the Olij assortment as well their fully fledged propagation facility.
During the IFTEX International Flower Expo, Olij will be showcasing their varities at stand number B1.12. Here is a sneak preview of some of their high producing varieties.

A radiant creamy white rose that is not only a good traveller but also has good vaselife of up to 2 weeks and opens slowly at the vase. Long Island works well in all altitudes with a production average of 200-210 in 1900m and stems of 60-70 cm. She can also realize heads of 4cm in lower altitude areas such as Thika in central Kenya.

Olij Propagation
The Olij Propagation facility is fully commercial and propagates any variety grafting them with either pegs or silicon tubes into 100% coco peat plugs. The plants take on average 4-5 weeks from graft, to greenhouse ready plant. The facility boasts an eb-flow system and artificial light producing strong and healthy plants.
