Schreurs EA Gearing up for IFTEX 2015
In the lead up to the eagerly awaited 4th edition of IFTEX flower expo, Shreurs East Africa has sent out an invitation to growers across the East African region to visit their showhouse in Naivasha and sample some of the breeder's new varieities as well as existing commercial varieties. The open day 2nd June 2015, is being held in collaboration with other breeders located at Naivasha's Flower Business Park, including Interplant Roses, Nirp and Kordes.
These are some of the commercial varieties at Schreurs East Africa
Nightingale! has a nice trendy lavender color and is a very good producer able to hit above 200 in Naivasha. She travels well and has a high packing rate.
This commercial variety has been very well accepted in the market. She is a good producer averaging 170-190 in Naivasha and has an average stemlength of 50-70 cm. The unique lavender color is a definite plus.
