The More the roses... the Merrier!!!
These three guys went out of their ways to make their proposals and marriage superbly memorable. Coincidentally, all these three 'gigantic' gestures of romance were staged in the Peoples Republic of China. Then again, in this part of the world, the number 999 is considered to be a good luck omen.
9,999 roses for a grand proposal

In an incredibly romantic gesture, this guy in China had a dress out of 9,999 deep red roses made for his girlfriend. After she put on the dress, he proposed.
Initially Xiao Fan considered proposing with only the roses, but realizing his girlfriend’s love for fashion, he decided to go a step further and get them sewn onto a dress. So the flowers were stitched together carefully to make a sweeping floral gown, fit for a bride. Several dressmakers worked round the clock on the project to get it completed on time. I think it’s pretty amazing how they managed it, keeping the flowers so fresh and lovely.
Groom went the whole 99,999 yards

When this Chinese bride's dream wedding involved 99,999 red roses, the groom had to do all he could to make her bride's dream come true. Xiao Wang dug deep into his pocket to fulfil his fiance's wishes for this memorable wedding held in Chongqing, central China.
The most tasking part was to attach all the roses onto 30 cars. This job took 40 people a total of 10 hours working overnight. Liu, The bride, who met her Knight in floral ammour while they were at University together added: "I mentioned a year ago I would like a romantic wedding - I can't believe he remembered, but it was amazing."
Proposal with 999 roses made of cash!

And this year, a man in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province proposed to his girlfriend by giving her 999 paper roses folded out of money.
The young IT programmer, surnamed Chen, used all of his 200,000 yuan (US$32,990) savings to make the origami roses for his beloved's birthday on February 12. Chen said he started folding the flowers on February 8, but managed to create less than 300 roses in two days. Luckily, his friends and colleagues helped him out with the rest.
