Purchasing of cut flowers concentrated in auction room C in Naaldwijk
The purchasing of cut flowers in Naaldwijk will be concentrated in auction room C from June 2. Auction room B will then be closed.

More and more customers are using Remote Buying. As the number of buyers in the auction rooms declines, concentration of the cut flower purchasing become possible. Bundling purchasing power makes for more efficient work.
The purchasing of products at clock 4 will remain physically in auction room C. In mid-March the buyer's desks area in auction room C was renovated with new workplaces for buyers. In total, 370 customers can purchase in auction room C at three physical and eight virtual cut flower clocks. Each buyer's workplace is fitted with a screen, keyboard and PC. Before the auction, customers can digitally mark lots they find interesting, to catch their attention when it comes up for auction. The workplace is set up for nationwide auctioning (auctioning in the cloud) and pilots like omitting buyer's numbers from the clock front and multitransaction auctioning.
