During the FlowerTrials® (June 10-13, 2014) Anthura features several new anthurium cut flower varieties including one bearing an exceptional deep purple flower.

The anthurium cut flower novelties presented with the Flower Trials are;
Tropical Improved®
An improved version of Tropical. This variety is cold resistant, has a flower size of 13 to 15 cm and a vase life of 23 days. The production of Tropical Improved is 90 flowers /m2.
Midori Improved®
In succession to the popular variety Midori Anthura presents now Midori Improved. Its colour is vivid green, the flower size is 13-15 cm and the vase life is very good.
Maravilla®
This variety is a striking appearance, its deep purple colour is unique. Even the spadix colour is dark purple. A long with its vase life of 37 days Maravilla is a remarkable novelty.
Aspire®
Apire is bright white and produces nicely shaped flowers are 13-15 cm. The vase life is 35 days. The tip of the spadix is coloured green.
