Meet the Calandiva Flying Squad!

1 For this fantastic brighten-up-your-terrace-or-balcony-idea mix white latex with wood glue in a 50/50 ratio. Pull the plastic pot of the plant en put it on a bottle on a piece of paper (yes, things will get messy - enjoy!).
2 Cut a square of cotton, pull on a pair of plastic gloves, drench the in the latex/glue mix and drape it over the plastic pot. It dries really quickly in the open air with a bit of sun, so have yourself a cuppa and return to your master piece to pierce 3-4 holes in it with a perforator or awl.
3 Thread a piece of string through the holes, put your Calandiva back in its plastic pot and let it all hang out. Looks fabulous with lots of Divas in bright colours. These wonderful flower-in-pots love being outdoors in frost-free periods and bring instant happiness and oomph to your garden lounge.
