IFTEX Sold Out Following a Record Number of Exhibitors for the 2014 Edition!

The International Flower Trade Exhibition IFTEX has hit the roof with a record number of exhibitors in its third edition slated for June 4th - 6th this year. An all time high of 160 exhibitors, a 25% increase compared to 2013, is not even the most remarkable fact to report, but having achieved this 3 months before the show opens, marks IFTEX with the fastest growth ever of a floriculture trade fair in HPP’s 30 year history. The biggest representation in the show will be exhibiting Kenyan flower growers, but also growers from other flower producing nations will present themselves during this exciting international flower trade event.
Growers from Ethiopia, Uganda, South Africa, Tanzania as well as even growers from countries from an other other important flower producing continent i.e. from Ecuador and Colombia, will be showing this edition.
Meanwhile, IFTEX organizers are now considering extending the fair by creating more exhibition space in another part of the Visa Shree Oshwal Center. An extra Hall will be determined by a sufficient number of companies requesting exhibit space, which will expected to be known by the end of March.
The promotion department of HPP also reports a strong growing number of pre registered buyers compared to 2013, as well as a considerable growth in the diversity of the countries where the visitors come from. The increasing number of international flower buyers from Europe, especially from Holland, is surprising and indicates a strong growing interest of the Dutch to get more directly involved with their Kenyan suppliers.
