The Olympic flame has landed
The Winter Olympic Games in Sochi have started. The first Olympic heroes have received their medals. Although participation is more important then winning, all athletes compete for the ultimate golden medal and eternal fame!
Our chrysanthemums have arrived in top condition. Both at the Adler skate Arena, the Rose Khutor ski area and at Medal Plaza the chrysanthemum varieties Ferry and Country have been part of all Olympic bouquets.
Maybe not the largest bouquets ever, nevertheless arrangements with topvarieties, made according to Russian tradition.
According to the games' official website all flowers have a special meaning: 'The bouquets of the Ceremonies symbolize the colors of the resort city of Sochi. The green and the white chrysanthemums , Ferry and Country, represent the contrast of valleys, meadows and mountains stretching along the Black Sea coast.'
After a long journey, the Olympic flame has eagerly landed. Together with Ferry and Country, main remarkable sports moments to come!
