Fields of floral gold - @Fleuramour
During the floral design event Fleuramour in Alden Biesen, Floral designers Roman Steinhauer & Vadim Kanzanskiy were invited to decorate one of the bigger rooms in the castle.
Armed with only: Grain, Wire & an assortment of Gerberas from Holstein Flowers, they managed to create an incredible floral construction. It took two days and nights to finish everything in time for the visitors. But the result was spectacular and was in the end one of the most favorite rooms of Fleuramour 2013

The room is an empty canvas, ready for Roman, Vadim and team to put their skills to action
By inserting thin pieces of wire, each of the 'straws of grain' is made to the right size, shape and look

In simple yet elaborate design, the grain is first placed. You will notice the almost symetrical balance in placing.

In exceptional braiding technique, the grains are put to 'flight' in a three dimensional contruction

On one side the construction was attached to the ceiling extending the three dimensional effect of the contruction
Time to incorporate the Gerbera. The colourful assortment from Holstein Flowers will add that needed spice to the flowing golden fields. Red, Orange, Green, White.. the variety is amazing
