Story of the circle by Laura Leong

At Fleur Amoure 2013

This design story began with the circle shape as inspiration, the design focuses solely on Lisianthus, which have a beautiful circular form when viewed from above, they are also fantastically diverse as the form graduates in size and colour very beautifully.

In order to highlight this many thousands of circles were cut from paper back books to form rhythmic trails that link and surround the individual components of the design. The antiqued paper was chosen to link with stone features of the interior of the room within Alden Biesen castle.
