Four projects make the metropolis flourish
Klaus Wagener, a creative mind at BLOOM’s, and Jürgen Herold, the current German Florist Champion, have sparked the Floral StreetArt trend movement and put it into action in July 2013 in Berlin for the first time. Find out more about the floral project here:
“flower frieze” by Jürgen Herold
Jürgen Herold, German Florist Champion 2012/13, created a romantic wildflower meadow in the middle of a heavily trafficked Berlin road. His “flower frieze” on the center strip of the Frankfurter Allee was a natural contrast to its urban surroundings.
“poster layering” by Steffi Dix
Beautiful summer flowers were integrated in a layering of several advertising posters and attached to a street light.
“blue drop of blossoms” by Andrea Biedermann
With her “blue drop of blossoms”, Andrea Biedermann emphasized natural elements in the urban context. Her installation on a bridge above the Spree brilliantly captured the blue color of the water.
Eschenbüscher“blooming wheels” by Dany Eschenbüscher
Let’s roll! The “blooming wheels” by BLOOM’s florist Dany Eschenbüscher were a great eyecatcher on Berlin’s famous Alexanderplatz. With it’s movement, the rolling art symbolized the fast pace of urban life.
