Floraliëntime presents 100.000 flowers in Brussels’ City Hall!
From August 15-18, 2013 the Brussels’ City Hall will be transformed into a heavenly walking garden full of colours and scents.
The EU capital city is joining forces with the NGO Brussels Flower Carpet and The Ghent Floraliën to create “Floraliëntime”, a major international plant and flower arrangement event in Brussels City Hall and at Brussels’ Grand Place.
Internationally renowned landscape architects and floral artists will decorate the entrance, boardrooms and reception rooms of the majestic building with the newest creations and arrangement trends, new flower varieties and plants supplied by the Floralies of Ghent.
In the following video a few of the many participating florists, Sofie De Boeck and Tomas De Bruyne talk about their decoration at Floraliëntime.
The leitmotiv of this exhibition is Colours of life, a reference to the colours of this historic décor which will serve as an inspiration for these artists. A relaxation garden will be set up at the Grand Place, where visitors can take a breather.
Definitely worth a visit! More information can be found on www.floralientime.be
