Timo Huges departs at FloraHolland 1 October.

Timo Huges (48) succeeds Bert Meerstadt from 1 October as CEO at the NS(Dutch railways).
Meerstadt has been asked to train his 48-year-old successor, who has been appointed by Minister Dijsselbloem (Finance- department). This appointment was kept quit by the Financedepartment.
Huges is currently chairman of Royal FloraHolland and from 2006 to 2008 he was Managing Director of Cooperative Aalsmeer Flower Auction. He has previously worked years for logistics provider Frans Maas.
The Supervisory Board believes to have found "an excellent and experienced successor". "We look forward to further improve NS for travelers under his guidance.
