From June 11 to 13, 2015 the world's best florists will gather in Berlin for a competition of superlatives!
For the first time in 32 years, the Fleurop-Interflora World Cup is returning to Germany! The venue for next year's three-day global trade event is the vibrant metropolis of Berlin. The German capital is the "place to be" in Europe and is currently attracting people from all over the world. Berlin inspires and it combines international flair with economic dynamism and multicultural influences. These are perfect conditions for creative excellence from the best floral designers in the world.
“Our goal is to strengthen the global Fleurop-Interflora network and our profession in general, to sharpen the people's eye for the cultural heritage which are our flowers, and to secure this important competition for the future. We very much look forward to an international festival of floristry, where different workshops and an intensive cultural exchange are in the foreground," says Stefan Gegg, CEO of Fleurop AG and World President of the Interflora Inc.
The last Interflora World Cup took place in Shanghai when Stein Are Hansen won the title for Norway. Who will take the trophy this time?
Flowerweb team will be partnering with the organisation to do live reporting from the event like we did in Shanghai so that also people who do not have the posibilities to come over have a chance to follow what is happening.
