The innovative company Lehner Wolle from Upper Austria surprises with a huge array of top international designers, great plant-, flower- and decoration sponsors, and a great team of the company itself. It was a brilliant start of the 4th International Florists Congress. On the 24th and 25th of June 2017 in Frankfurt everything that belongs together came together. For the first time the 4th International Florists Congress and the consumer goods fair tendence were fused. Hence the inspiring double pack generates synergies for the broadly common target audience – florists, upholsterers and also the international specialized trade and wholesale.
"With passion and expertise the floral designers inspired the participants and visitors at the tendence”, commented Felicitas Lehner, initiator of the Congress and authorized signatory of Lehner Wolle.
Many participants used the meeting of the branch as an exchange with 29 florists from over 9 different countries – creative suggestions and networking included. The trends for the seasons 2017 and 2018 in each booth (“Koje”) of the florists were in the foreground.
Another highlight was a highly-acclaimed stage program, which was moderated by Felicitas Lehner. At the stage shows, the book launch of “Die Weihnachtsmanufakur” from Klaus Wagener (BLOOM´s) or the 5x4 trendteam show programme took place for example.
The two floristy world champions Stein Are Hansen from Norway and Frédéric Dupré from France caused a burst of enthusiasm at the audience. As special guests they worked at the stage shows with full excitement. Beyond that the 4th International Florists Congress provided a practical benefit for retailers – for example the direct communication with florists and press.
The 23 booths and areas, which were designed by the florists according to the seasonal topics have had one common topic – a practical scope. From the little working exposition which is ready within a few minutes to the eyecatcher for the shop window, ideas in aplenty, which prove that there is room for a huge success.
As representatives for all sponsors Jan de Boer (Barendsen, NL) and Markus Schütze (Oasis, DE) talked about that huge potential success with the innovation of the international floral designers and the collaboration with the sponsors. „If we collaborate, we can affect a lot”, so Jan de Boer, who wants to animate flower shops to deliver the flowers with an e-bicycle.
Without all these cooperation’s such a huge event would not have been possible. The event was supported by Ulmer Verlag, Florieren, BLOOM‘s, Haymarket, TASPO, G & V, Gärtner und Florist, Fleur Creativ, ... just to name a few.
